The 7 Essentials of a Successful Garage Sale

With spring around the corner, many of us begin to turn our attention top spring cleaning, specifically cleaning out the clutter in our homes. The items that contribute to most of the clutter are ones that we no longer need or use. If an item no longer serves a purpose, why not sell it?

This month, I'm sending information that will help you plan and organize a successful garage sale. Garage sales are a popular way to clear the clutter and make a few dollars at the same time. While page one outlines the steps to plan your next garage sale, page two offers timeless suggestions that will help you boost sales as well as important safety tips.

If a garage sale is just not your things, please consider saving and donating those items that no longer serve a purpose at home, to the Annual Royal Lepage Garage aSale for Shelter. All proceeds raised stay locally and are donated to the Nipissing Transition House here in North Bay. Last year we raised over $5100.00 for this worthy cause. I will keep  you informed in upcoming posts, but please keep May 10th, 2014 in your calendars. I am pleased once again to say that David Willms at AMJ Campbell Van Lines has graciously supplied us with space to store items that are collected prior to the garage sale date. Please keep us in mind.

Pass this helpful information on to your family and friends who may be planning a garage sale in the future.

Oh, by the way®... if you know of someone who would appreciate the level of service I provide, please call me with their name and business number. I'll be happy to follow up and take great care of them.
